hen it comes to fashion, there’s no doubt that accessories play a big part of it. Not all of us are like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, or any of those Hollywood superstars who have their millions to update their wardrobe every day. In this case, the accessories will be your hero!
Obviously, ‘accessories’ spread across quite a few categories – there are sunglasses, scarves, belts, earrings, and of course, handbags. Handbags are undoubtedly the one that draw the most attention at the first glance. Why? Well, simply because it’s normally the biggest accessory of all! Imagine yourself in some boring work outfit – white blouse, black blazer, black pants, and black shoes…….sounding depressed already. But if you could add the right accessories and the perfect handbag to the look, you can still look like a million.
Extreme sizes are ‘in’ lately, bags should be either big or small, not in the middle! Oversized clutch is also a beauty. I have to admit that it’s not the most practical and convenient style of handbags, but hey, it gives you the look, what more can you ask for? Fashionistas don’t always carry the most practical accessories you know. On the other hand, there are also styles that look great and are suitable for everyday use, such as tote bags. Choose bags with one or two delicate details, for example, fringes, shiny studs, or draw-strings are some of the fine choices. They’re in, and they’ll keep coming back!
Another popular style that will last for a long long time (thanks to Bottega Veneta) is the weaving pattern. There’s no need for too much details, because the pattern itself is full of details. The brand is considered as an iconic classic favorite, the downside is the price – they’re very pricey, indeed. If you’re a fan of the weaving but don’t have all those cash to splash, there are actually many similar styles out there without the name, which means they’re a lot cheaper too. Yes, I know everything in ‘Sex and the City’, ‘Devil wears Prada’ all look sooooooo nice and luxury, but remember, it’s the confidence within you that makes you look phenomenal with whatever you’re wearing or carrying. At the end of the day, what matters the most is to look good -- within our own budget.
